Daniel Earl Evans
You don’t just want to meet expectations—you want to defy, surpass, and outshine them. That’s why I started Earldom, and that’s what I’ve been doing for my entire career: thinking far outside the box, bringing bold ideas to fruition, and achieving my goals at the highest level. Above all else, I love helping my clients earn that same success as their proactive financial advocate.
I started my first business at 9, selling tomatoes and cucumbers grown by my father, Earl Evans, in our hometown of East Hampton, Long Island. I didn’t think like other kids: I threw myself wholeheartedly into the venture, giving it everything I had. What began as a way to pay for my back-to-school clothes soon became a full-fledged business wholesaling bushels of local, organic veggies to specialty stores like Dean & DeLuca and Amagansett Farmers Market. I tasted that entrepreneurial thrill and never looked back.
After immersing myself in economics and becoming an accomplished private equity analyst in London out of college, I went to Bear Stearns to be an investment banker. From there, I followed my heart into the music business and collaborated with Sean “Diddy” Combs as part of a tight group of executives trusted to launch the breakthrough brand, Bad Boy Entertainment—one of the biggest success stories in the modern entertainment industry. Finding my passion in assisting others on their path to prosperity, I became a personal financial advisor at Merrill Lynch and UBS, where I savored the opportunity to help clients and their families make smarter decisions.
But I wanted to provide an even more personal, comprehensive approach. That’s when I founded Earldom, dedicating myself to a select group of entrepreneurs, athletes, executives, and entertainers. Now I relive that entrepreneurial thrill everyday, helping clients make informed financial decisions to grow, preserve, and distribute their wealth. By simplifying their busy financial lives, I give my clients the confidence to achieve their dreams and live the life they always wanted.
